About the Study
PSC's study in Texas examines the value-added earnings outcomes of almost one million students who enrolled in public colleges and universities in Texas from 2008-09 through 2018-19.
We are grateful to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Education Research Center for granting us access to Texas’ exceptionally high-quality longitudinal data system.
Explore study findings
We studied 309,213 bachelor’s degree-seeking students who enrolled in 29 public institutions in Texas from 2008-09 through 2013-14.
We studied 559,068 associate’s degree-seeking students who enrolled in 57 public institutions in Texas from 2008-09 through 2013-14.
We studied 67,486 certificate-seeking students who enrolled in 57 public institutions in Texas from 2008-09 through 2018-19.
